About

I have devoted myself, both personally and professionally, to uplifting the lives of others. My run for Mayor is not about me but rather about all of us here in Chaska. Working hand in hand to bring our community closer together and make life better for all. I truly love Chaska, and I'm genuinely excited about what lies ahead as we continue to grow. I bring both passion and practicality to serving our community, working every day to plan for Chaska's future, protect our quality of life, and ensure every resident has the opportunity to thrive while honoring the values that make our community special. Together, let's continue building a hometown where businesses thrive, people feel connected, and everyone feels welcomed, valued, and at home.

Experience and Community Leadership

It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve as your Mayor for the past two years. Before becoming Mayor, I proudly represented Ward 2 on the Chaska City Council for five years. Throughout my service, I have focused on listening, building relationships, and ensuring Chaska remains a community where everyone can thrive.

Family

I’ve called Chaska home for over 20 years. I grew up in the southwest metro and graduated from Chaska High School in 2000. Building a life with my wonderful husband Martin has been an amazing journey. This July, we celebrate 22 years of marriage. Our son Ethan brings us immense joy, and we cherish raising him together.

In my free time, I love spending time with family, including our 3 beloved cats Zoey, Arlo, and Morris. My top 3 favorite activities in Chaska are walking and biking the trails, catching a Chaska Cubs baseball game on a Sunday afternoon, and engaging socially with community members at our many events! I also enjoy reading, archery, and puzzles (but I’m apparently terrible at speed puzzle competitions)!

Business Owner

I'm the proud owner of a photography studio with a dedicated team and a storefront located in a neighboring community. This spring, I am celebrating 17 years in business! I'm actively engaged in the Waconia Chamber of Commerce and have volunteered with various organizations such as Rotary, Carver County Food Distribution, Christmas in May, Heros & Helpers and Community Education, among others. Serving my community brings me great joy and fulfillment.
